How often should my lawn be mowed in Atlanta?

During the growing season (roughly April through October), most Atlanta lawns look best with weekly mowing. Bermuda and Zoysia grow fast in summer heat, so weekly service keeps them dense and even. In cooler months we can switch to bi-weekly visits.

When is the best time to install sod in Georgia?

Warm-season grasses like Bermuda and Zoysia root best from late spring through summer, when soil is warm. Fescue does best when installed in fall. We will recommend the right grass and timing for your yard.

Mulch or pine straw: which is better?

Both protect your beds. Mulch gives a clean, uniform look and breaks down slowly; pine straw is lighter, stays put on slopes and gives a natural Georgia look. Many properties use both in different areas.
